FAQ

1. What is ILIASSU?

ILIASSU is an artistic system for moveable painting.
It works with physically movable canvases and understands painting
as a material process, not as a static image state.

2. Why is ILIASSU not media art?

Because no images are transmitted, simulated or projected.
The movement arises in the material itself – paint, canvas and form
remain real components.

3. What role does technology play?

Technology is a means, not content.
It enables the physical mobility of the image carrier.

4. Who works with the ILIASSU system?

Independent authors work with the system.
ION SUR and NASR REE use the same technical basis,
but pursue different artistic approaches.

5. Are the works interactive?

Not in the sense of control or manipulation.
The works change their state depending on presence,
without being operable.

6. What remains of classical painting?

Everything.
What changes is not painting itself,
but its static fixation.
